Peaceful. Slumber. Eternal.

This silent hill,  A pointless wander,  Walking blind,  Far from home.   
A cold winter,  An open sky,  Snow flakes start to fall,  Framing his tears.   
Impressions on the snow,  A heart broken,  His grief,  Throws him to his knees.   
He weeps openly,  Afraid to cry,  More fearing of the pain,  Frozen trails like scars on his cheeks.   
He struggles with the buckle,  Finally sliding free his knife.  A cut on a finger,  His bloodied pen.   
He writes of his love in the snow,  Line after line of crimson text,

Logic In TimeEverytime I hear your voice, I cower behind the walls of insanity, because your cool tones speak of the impending heartache I have suffered at your hands, oh so many times before. My tears are my shell, but you shred its protection contantly. I feel my resistance wearing away with each word, as another tear escapes these bitter eyes. This journal is going to be about how much I have matured this year. If this doesn't interest you, then leave now. I won't know, so don't feel bad about it.

At the start of this year, Liz (my girlfriend) and I broke up and lived our own lives. After that I went into a depressed slump. But since then I have experienced a lot, and I think I have matured a lot.

A list of stuff:
Breakups,
Friend passing away,
Getting beaten up by stepfather,
Dishing punishment back,
Talking to Biological father for the first time properly in 9-10 years,
Actually working hard.

I don't feel smarter after all this, but I feel wiser. My definition of wise is below:

"Being wise means knowing a lot through experience. It does not necessarily require intelligence, just experience."

I definitly feel wiser. But I go through every day with such a weight on my shoulders
i just want to break down into tears.

If this is what it's like being an adult, then I'd gladly go back to being a child.

Just one more moment of innocence...
